Electronic Protection Unit for AC Motors – “EZAD-12”

1. Applications: 

   EZAD-12 is designed to protect triphase AC motors (low voltage – 220/380V) from the whole variety of nominal capacities of electric driven pumps, ventilators, centrifuges, compressors, lifting and transportation mechanisms etc., working in continuous and short-time modes. EZAD-12 is a current protection unit with simplified indication of the normal and malfunction status.

2. Functions:

   EZAD-12 provides:

   • protection of the electric motor when overloading in a symmetrical mode of power supply;
   • protection of the electric motor in “locked rotor” mode;
   • protection of the electric motor when loss of phase (voltage or current) is occured;
   • protection of the electric motor when there is an inadmissible (over 10%) voltage asymmetry;
   • protection of the electric motor when a bad insulation is occurred(before starting);
   • time-delay of engine startup after powering up.
3. Technical information and work modes:

    

   • powering voltage : 3x(220 – 240) V/50 Hz;
   • time-delay when a phase is lost – 3 sec.;
   • time-delay if asymmetry is over 10% - 8 sec.;
   • range of time delay: 10 – 300 sec. (if ordered);
   • range of controlled insulation: 1K – 0,5 M; (regulated with trimer – potentiometer);
   • relay output– switching – 8A/220 V AC;
   • protection – IP20 or IP44;
   • current transformer – Ix/5A/5W with external shunt 0,2?/5 W;
